Trimble offers a unique opportunity for a motivated recent graduate to join the Trimble team as a part of our Finance Rotational Development Program. This program is designed for motivated college graduates with business acumen, a desire to learn, a willingness to lead, and the confidence to interact with company executives and key business leaders. Participants will develop critical leadership and technical skills through rotational assignments, in-depth training, and ongoing coaching and feedback. In this position you will have the opportunity to use your recently gained knowledge to rotate through 3 - 4 different positions within multiple businesses and finance organizations, providing you vast opportunities and great company exposure. At the end of this 36 month program, we will facilitate your post-program process by supporting you through finding the best position that suits your skills and business needs. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
Rotations would generally include 6 - 12 months spent in a variety of roles, for example:
Business Unit Finance
- Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts
- Participate in month/quarter-end accounting close
- Variance Analysis: analyze P&L for changes in margin and expenses
- Maintain and develop proper internal controls, especially those mandated by SOX
- Support long range planning and strategy development
- Participate in acquisition modeling and acquisition
Internal Audit
- Assist with the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program, operational, regulatory & financial internal audits, management assurance engagements, and fraud and forensics
- Support businesses in creating and executing internal controls
- Aid in the creation and modification of internal controls
- Educate and integrate controls for acquisitions
Corporate Accounting
- Responsible for general ledger close activities using Oracle. Assist with close responsibilities (i.e. perform journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet flux analysis, detailed account analysis)
- Responsible for maintaining accounts and records in various general and/or cost accounting functions
- Collect and analyze financial data and prepare reports and recommendations.
- Review, verify and approve transactions and journal entries
- Prepare income and balance sheet, profit and loss, consolidated and other accounting statements
- Assist with improving processes and procedures within the Dayton Finance group (i.e. track IT requests, project status, etc.)
- Prepare monthly financial and management reporting packages
- Responsible for performing and optimizing the day-to-day and period close revenue operations activities processed systematically or manually
- Participate in various system implementation related activities and assist with revenue reporting and analytics
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Assist in financial planning processes related to annual and quarterly forecasting, headcount planning, and long-range planning
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other financial groups, including purchasing, accounting, corporate finance
- Engage with Business Unit finance leadership
- Prepare reports and analysis for CFO, board meetings, senior management reviews
- Provide analysis and monitor new acquisition activity
- Support external reporting, including earnings releases and 10Qs

Education/Experience Required
BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or Economics
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data tables
Familiarity with data query/data management tools extremely helpful (Access or SQL)
Experience in Oracle Financials and Cognos a plus
A minimum of one related prior internship or up to three years of relevant professional experience is required.
Must be legally authorized to start in Westminster, Colorado in July 2025
