The Trimble Supply Chain Content Platform is a fundamental layer in the future of Connected Construction, providing the industry with constructible MEP content and next-generation pricing, quoting, and procurement services.
The mission of our Content Transformation (Cx) initiative is to build the next-generation content platform. We see a Senior Program Manager to drive this initiative, a series of interconnected projects spanning new technologies, staff change management, operations process overhauls, new products, and new infrastructure. We seek an accomplished program management professional with demonstrated background in successfully delivering complex, multi-faceted projects on-time and on-budget.
The ideal candidate should clearly demonstrate a passion for team collaboration, software development, systems management, financial modeling, and customer success and have a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary programs on time, within budget, and of high quality and market readiness. This role involves continuously assessing, recommending, and implementing improvements and additions to Supply Chain’s product development methodology and supporting processes. Exceptional communication skills are paramount as this role promotes and communicates program status through-out the organization from Senior Executive updates to cross functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with leadership to formulate and sustain the Content Transformation strategy and roadmap, aligning it with Trimble's overall business strategy
Maintain alignment, timeline, and budget across Content Transformation initiatives
Plans and oversee multiple concurrent activities from program initiation to program completion, communicating progress throughout to program stakeholders and executive team
Proactively identifies risks and issues, drive the team to develop risk mitigation and issue management strategies and communicates impacts to the program and executive teams
Provide effective communication regarding status, issues, objectives, dependencies, risks and plan execution to management and the product development team.
Develop and maintain product development schedules, with well-defined milestones, and resource allocation for funded projects
Drives Resolution for Program Challenges and conflicts by bringing key stakeholders together
Skills & Experience
10+ Years of experience in a senior-level project or program management role
Proven success delivering multiyear, complex architectural projects with multiple teams that are globally dispersed
Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science
Experience with software Agile (scrum) development cycles (concept to production).
Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on metrics for project KPIs, including timing, status, financials, and dependencies
Able to help others estimate amount of work, schedules, and resource requirements by asking questions, analyzing data, and challenging assumptions
Accomplished management skills, relationship-building skills, requirements gathering experience, and negotiating skills
Excellent problem solving, risk mitigation and conflict resolution skills
Well-organized, self-directed team player, always willing to adapt and learn
Visualizes the big picture and effectively identifies key issues and works towards driving the right decisions
Strong leadership, decision-making and facilitation abilities with excellent communication, organizational and people skills
Ability to quickly develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of divisional software products and remain expert on current product knowledge both from an internal and from a user perspective
