We are looking for an exceptional and achievement driven B2B sales professional to join our Automotive Sales team. As a key contributor to the growth of TomTom business, you will be in charge of developing and growing TomTom business with some of the leading Automotive OEMs and tier-1s. The position is based in Germany
What you'll do
- Manage major automotive OEM and tier-1 accounts. Develop and expand TomTom’s business with the assigned accounts
- Lead the business in close collaboration with the global account team and key stakeholders of the TomTom organization
- Develop the account strategy and execute on the account plan
- Manage the sales cycle and successfully drive opportunities through the RFI/RFQ process
- Build strong relationships with the customer organization including decision-makers at executive and management levels
- Promote TomTom’s product proposals and create tailored solutions that benefit both TomTom and its customers
- Collaborate effectively with the TomTom organization including Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Governance, Legal and Finance
- Contribute to a positive work environment, delivering results with enthusiasm and curiosity
- Collect and share insights about customer news & strategies, competition and technology trends
- Represent TomTom at industry events to promote brand awareness and identify potential opportunities
- Manage revenue and forecasting
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Engineering or Computer Science
- 7+ years of B2B software sales experience, at least 3 years related to Automotive
- Proven experience in managing and developing large, multi-million, strategic account relationships
- Successful track record of negotiating and closing complex contracts with long sales cycles.
- Proven skills of building strong relationships with customers and partners on executive level
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
- Well-structured business approach, proven ability to manage complexity, passionate about automotive and technology in general
- Leadership skills, proactively taking initiative, strongly motivated by creating impact, collaborative work spirit
- Effective communication in English and German
- Ability to travel as needed
