Senior Product Manager - Point of Interest (POI)

What you'll do
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all POI-related inquiries for both Orbis and Genesis maps
  • Define and measure freshness metrics; develop strategies to address gaps
  • Create a sourcing strategy that aligns with the nature of OSM, Overture, and both commercial and in-house sourcing capabilities as well as maintain tight control over expenditures
  • Identify solutions for improving POI freshness through innovative sourcing methods
  • Accelerate customer feedback loop with signals and leads processing to enhance real-time data accuracy
  • Focus on enhancing the routing point richness and accuracy of POIs
  • Leverage customer feedback and data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, particularly in automotive and enterprise segments such as ride-hailing.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to influence the broader POI product scope, including location and attribute quality, and assess POI superfluousness
What you'll need
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Product Manager in a technology company, managing software products
  • Experience in the end to end data-powered product development in areas such as search, recommendations and personalization, optimization or growth algorithms
  • Ability to work effectively with engineering teams to deliver technical solution
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving alignment on product strategy and execution.
  • Deep understanding of user needs, with the ability to advocate for the customer while balancing business goals
  • Strong at designing success metrics and uniting stakeholders behind a vision of tracking outcomes
  • Proficient in analyzing data to derive insights, inform decisions, and measure impact
  • Experience in creating principles to empower other functions (engineering, MSO, sales), to increase autonomy of others
  • Ability to manage conflict effectively and transform low productivity conversations among stakeholders
