What You’ll Do
  • Develop and refine commercial strategies based on robust data analysis, business modelling, and market understanding.
  • Create conceptual models and explain these clearly to stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective pricing strategies aligned with company goals and market conditions.
  • Apply an agile mindset, testing hypotheses, iterating based on feedback, and improving your work through collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Evaluate performance, uncover margin improvement opportunities, and recommend data-backed actions to enhance commercial outcomes.
  • Apply pricing models and frameworks to concrete customer opportunities, ensuring quotes and proposals are competitive and profitable.
  • Analyze customer segments, buying behaviours, competitive positioning, and market trends to guide decisions.
  • Model and simulate scenarios and trade-offs, supporting decision-making with clear, commercial logic.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear business insights and communicate findings to commercial stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Help define and track KPIs, including deal-level profitability, discounting trends, and customer lifetime value.
  • Proactively identify challenges and opportunities — and lead the analysis to solve them.
What you'll need
  • 8+ years of experience in an analytical, strategy, or commercial finance role — ideally in B2B tech, Automotive, Enterprise software, or SaaS.
  • Strong quantitative and financial modelling skills with an ability to draw conclusions from complex data sets.
  • High level of business acumen — you understand how to impact growth, profitability, customer value, and market positioning.
  • Proven experience framing commercial questions, structuring analyses, and influencing business decisions with data.
  • Independent, self-driven approach: you take ownership, spot opportunities, and act without waiting for direction.
  • Strong communication skills: you know how to present data-driven stories to non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced Excel and/or analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Python) are a plus.
  • A degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or another analytical discipline.
