As a People Development Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in our Co-Intelligence Program, empowering our engineering community to thrive in the era of AI. This is your chance to deliver and scale learning experiences that fuel innovation and accelerate skills for the technologies of tomorrow and ensure our organization is set up for this transition.
What You'll Do
  • Play an important role in our journey towards becoming a dynamic organization, where we drive skills-based learning and talent growth to address the changing business needs.
  • Be our subject matter expert on all thing’s talent, providing expertise to our wider People team and business leaders.
  • Manage learning programs to support TomTom’s success, for instance an AI-upskilling programs for our engineering community.
  • Design, create and implement solutions that are loved by our internal customers
  • Select external partners and collaborate to offer the best learning experiences to our internal customers.
  • Manage relationships with our external partners including contract management, driving their performance through agreed success measures, and ensuring the operation runs smoothly through our People Services team.
  • Measure and track the impact of our learning and development initiatives and report on results and success.
  • Analyze how our TomTom-ers use and appreciate initiatives to draw conclusions on learning needs and suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to building a learning culture by creating ecosystems and communities that support knowledge sharing.
  • Incorporate learning in the flow of work, making it easy for our customers to be upskilled as and when needed.
  • Create and develop learning content for a broad range of topics while building development toolkits.
  • Deliver or support on our core processes, such as performance management, feedback culture, recognition, manager onboarding and more.
  • Facilitate learning events and manage learning communities.
  • Manage and monitor our tools, such as Learning Experience Platform and other digital learning and talent assessment tools.
What You'll Need
  • You have around 5+ years of experience in a learning and development role.
  • You have a proven ability to design, create and deliver learning programs or talent initiatives.
  • You are up to date with the latest developments in the talent space and participate in networking communities to understand wider trends.
  • You have a proven ability to lead multi-team working groups, resource planning, budget management, communications and stakeholder relations in a project or program context.
  • You are experienced at creating and facilitating engaging workshops.
  • You are familiar with learning platforms and tools, like Learning Management System, Learning Experience Platform, learning content generation and talent assessment tools.
  • You have experience applying AI in learning and talent processes for effectiveness and to improve the user experience.
  • Ideally, you are familiar with agile methodologies, design thinking or the product-led approach.
  • You are a great communicator, used to working with multi-cultural, hybrid teams in a large organization.
