The Talent / L&D partner sits in the People Essentials team which safeguards the entire employee experience. They bring together expertise in learning, reward, social impact, and vendor management. Their purpose is to ensure our products deliver an experience that is easy, compliant, efficient, consistent, bias-free, and equitable.
As a Talent / L&D Partner, you will work as part of this cross-functional team, to drive learning and development best practices which further optimize the TomTom employee experience.
We’re looking for someone who is a thought leader and passionate about developing learning and development programs to enable growth of our TomTom-ers.
What You'll Do
- As a learning and development “Product Owner”, you will lead the design, improvement, and implementation of learning and development programs, frameworks, tools and processes
- While partnering with (senior) leadership, you will actively drive the development and implementation of TomTom-ers and business unit-specific learning and development approaches, consistent with TomTom’s learning philosophy.
- You will partner with other learning and development partners to work in an agile manner to deliver scalable solutions and develop programs for TomTom to develop the world’s greatest talent.
- You will take a lead in global L&D activities to ensure globally consistent and easy employee experience
- You will take up a consultative role in overarching projects that require learning and development expertise
What You'll Need
- Bachelors or master’s degree in HR Management, social or business sciences
- 7+ years of experience in the talent / learning and development space.
- Advanced level knowledge of trends and developments in learning and development, as well as a strong foundation of best practices in the field. Next to that, you have basic knowledge in the employee experience discipline.
- A natural drive towards teamwork and agile working.
- Ability to flex between core delivery of large-scale activity, whilst providing consultancy on a broad range of learning and development topics
- Ability to think creatively, be a self-starter, and work independently to propose global and local plan designs and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication and presentations skills and ability to interact with different cultures and levels of management. You have proven experience in partnering with senior management, works councils and external parties, such as consultants.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
