As Maps Product Manager, you will join the Product Organization managing the Routing content of the Maps domain. As a subject expert you are the go-to person across the organization on topics related to how routing features are captured in the map, how they are maintained using evolving new sourcing techniques, how they contribute to a map that is superior to competition and how this content will evolve over time. Working with customers, internal testing and user experience teams, suppliers, and engineers, you will define, deploy and execute on a product-led roadmap. Together with the product team you will create value for internal and external customers that results in drivers who love using our data.
What you'll do
- Assist in developing a product strategy for Maps, Routing within TomTom Maps
- Work directly with our stakeholders and – when possible – our customers and end-users (internal and external) to learn about their opportunities, problem areas and upcoming plans, to identify areas of potential impact or requirements
- Create, maintain and communicate roadmaps for Maps - Routing related content
- Actively align the product roadmap with other domains within Maps and across the organization
- Understand the market, customers, competition and technology and provide our engineers with a line of sight to customer value
- Be a part of a cross-functional team that is tackling customer problems and collaborating with other teams across TomTom to ensure a synchronized,
- reliable routing end-user experience
- Support business unit Sales and Marketing to successfully understand and sell the product(s)
What you'll need
- 1-3 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in a software company
- Degree in Computer Science or similar field
- Passion for understanding customer problems and driving product-led solutions
- GIS experience and affinity for maps is preferred
- Data-driven with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills that will ensure clear messaging to diverse internal teams as well as customers located worldwide
- Good knowledge of product discovery techniques and success measurements (e.g., OKRs)
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-changing environment
- Based in the Netherlands
