The position is based in Lodz and requires being in the office twice per week.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets relating to business performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Identify trends and patterns in data to drive business strategy and performance improvements.
- Conduct data validation and ensure the accuracy of data sources and reports.
- Assist in the development of data models to support analytics initiatives.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of statistical theories and methodologies.
- Experience with hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and predictive modeling and tools such statistical software such as R, SAS, or SPSS.
- Understanding of precision, recall scores and other performance metrics for model evaluation.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience as a data analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a business intelligence context.
- Experience in business analysis and understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Meet your team:
Our teams Business Intelligence and Business Analytics are at Sensor Sourcing Technology unit in Maps Sourcing Operations.
The Business Intelligence team concentrates on benchmarking TomTom products by utilizing ground truth, particularly for Traffic products. Our findings support the marketing and product management teams, while also offering the engineering teams valuable insights.
The Business Analytics team specializes in analyzing provider data, emphasizing its quality and coverage, specifically for Traffic products. We also deliver quality insights related to ETTs and other traffic-related metrics.
