What you'll do:
- Design and implement ML systems that extract features from satellite imagery, street-level imagery, and GPS traces
- Develop computer vision and 3D processing models to enhance map accuracy and feature detection
- Build scalable ML pipelines from data ingestion through deployment and monitoring
- Lead technical initiatives across teams, providing guidance on ML architecture and best practices
- Pioneer multi-source data fusion methods to create comprehensive geospatial understanding
- Define metrics and experiments to continuously validate and improve model performance
- Mentor engineers and help grow our ML capabilities across the organization
What you'll need:
- Strong software engineering foundation with high-quality coding standards
- Experience building and deploying ML systems in production environments
- Expertise in computer vision, geospatial ML, or 3D data processing
- Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks
- Experience designing end-to-end data processing and ML pipelines
- Strong analytical skills and statistical knowledge for experiment design
- Demonstrated technical leadership within cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud-based ML infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices
- Familiarity with mapping, navigation, or location-based services
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
