Following the departure of the TomTom Legal Team’s first Legal Operations Officer, this role offers the opportunity to build upon the foundations that have been laid and to further grow and develop the function. Reporting to the General Counsel, it presents an excellent opportunity for a candidate already working within in a larger legal operations function who wants to step up and take ownership of our full end to end processes and tooling.
What you’ll do
  • Be the first point of contact for the management of legal processes and tooling
  • Inventory core legal processes and tooling, including costs
  • Identify efficiency improvements in legal processes, including by the adoption of new tooling and/or the expansion of existing legal team tooling
  • Provide trainings on legal processes and tooling
  • Report on key operational and substantive metrics for the practice group that will better inform decision-making, including matter and work product analyses
  • Report and update process on OKRs and flywheel deliverables
  • Analyze external counsel usage and spend and identify both cost an efficiency savings
What you’ll need
  • An interest in process improvement
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Customer focused approach
  • Comfortable interacting across multiple teams (particularly our Enterprise IT team)
  • The ability to communicate clearly
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
