The GRC Manager, focusing on the Information Risk Program, will lead the effort to identify, assess, and treatments of key information risks across the company. Reporting to the Head of GRC, Director, within the Safety and Security Unit (SSU), and Chief Finance Officer organization, this critical role requires sharp analytical skills, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to inspire cross-functional collaboration. The GRC Manager will engage with product, engineering, and business teams to identify critical assets and emerging risks, quantify potential impacts, develop risk mitigation plans, and drive the implementation of approved risk treatments. The role also involves crafting clear risk reporting, enhancing the risk management program, and fostering a collaborative, innovative culture focused on proactively reducing risks.
What you’ll do:
  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Engage with product, engineering, and business teams to identify critical assets and emerging risks. Perform in-depth risk assessments, quantify potential impacts, and incorporate different perspectives. Identify top critical assets, key risks, and threats for top risks.
  • Risk Treatment: Develop risk treatment plans including mitigations considering effectiveness and feasibility. Pitch evidence-based recommendations to senior leadership and gain approval for treatment plans. Implement approved risk treatments, monitor effectiveness, and fine-tune approaches.
  • Risk Reporting and Communication: Craft clear, compelling risk reporting to enable data-driven decisions. Communicate program effectively to stakeholders and educate the broader audience on risk management best practices.
  • Program Enhancement and Processes: Enhance the risk management program by leveraging insights from assessments and seeking new tools and techniques. Establish risk framework, tools, and processes, and align with IT change management. Assess automation opportunities for the risk platform and implement improvements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Engagement: Partner closely with various teams to perform risk assessments and develop risk treatment plans. Present findings and recommendations to senior executives and other stakeholders. Establish strong relationships with risk and compliance partners and foster a risk-aware culture.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Continuously expand risk management expertise and leadership skills. Mentor and inspire team members to grow in their roles.
What you’ll need:
  • Extensive experience (+10 years) in risk management, including the information security domain.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, information security, computer science, communications, economics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quantify risks and perform cost-benefit analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful risk management programs and driving risk reduction.
  • Deep understanding of risk assessment, data protection, and information security methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Experience with risk management tools, platforms, and automation.
  • Relevant certifications in risk management or information security are highly desirable.
