What you'll do
- Work in close collaboration with the sales team in effectively positioning TomTom's products & services to the customer needs thus creating a great product experience in terms of value & usability and building customer confidence.
- Support the sales team with regards to assessing the business case for responding to specific opportunities in terms of technical competency to deliver and commercial viability.
- In collaboration with internal and external customer stakeholders, design and document the solution for the purposes of delivering it to a broad audience of technical/non-technical stakeholders.
- Take the required steps to ensure that the solution being proposed is capable of delivering to the client requirements.
- Support sales calls and meetings as the technical lead.
- Provide exceptional customer support, promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Keep up to date with the company’s product/service range, competitors offering and also market developments and trends.
- Collaborate with the product development team to identify potential opportunities to support new product introductions.
What you'll need
- Leverage your engineering skills to architect robust and scalable solutions.
- Use technology to tackle important challenges and create real-world impact.
- Deep understanding of the location tech industry, market dynamics and trends, and competition and ability to think strategically, make informed decisions introduce our products, articulate the product value proposition and services to customers, and drive growth.
- Profound knowledge of negotiation techniques, an excellent active listener, and a role model in displaying patience and persistence. Emotionally intelligent and can navigate complex and high-stakes issues & discussions effectively. Ability to manage emotions to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Expertise in verbal and non-verbal communication, ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, and to adapt own communication approach depending on the audience
- Expertise in identifying complex problems and underlying causes and developing solutions to capitalize on new sales opportunities. Ability to act independently and make informed decisions under uncertain circumstances.
- Possessing high knowledge to analyze existing business processes and information gathered to understand short to mid-term business requirements of varying complexity. Ability to evaluate potential options and recommend effective solutions and programs that can be developed, combined, or customized to address the root of business needs

- Comfortable with public speaking and delivering technical-related presentations to internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in delivering engaging and persuasive presentations to customers, whether in person or virtually.
- Expert in combining data insights to structure presentations, using visual aids effectively, and delivering a compelling message by means of storytelling
- Ability to multi-task and work within a dynamic work environment
- Aptitude for time management & organization
TomTom's pay ranges are determined by role, level, location, and internal equity. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education and/or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
