We are global experts in satellite propulsion, pushing the boundaries of streamlined in-orbit mobility for the rapidly expanding satellite constellation industry. Our clients across the US, Europe, and Asia trust us to design and deliver high-performance, precision-engineered propulsion systems that push technological boundaries while meeting demanding timelines and budgets. We made history in 2019 and 2020 with the world’s first in-orbit demonstrations of iodine-fueled electric propulsion systems. Today, we are experiencing rapid growth, with over 300 systems ordered to date.
As a Test Engineer you will contribute to the reliability of cutting-edge space systems, playing a key role in the final validation of our products before they are delivered to our international customers.
As a part of the Production team, you will be in charge of the critical acceptance testing phase for our space propulsion systems. Your objective: to guarantee the conformity, reliability and performance of products before they are delivered to our customers. For that you will be responsible for defining the test schedule and monitoring the test equipment. You will also work closely with the production and product development teams to guarantee product quality and reliability. You will discuss the design of tests and their coverage directly with customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Drafting test procedures, constantly adapting them to customer requirements
- Optimising test scripts to improve coverage
- Supervising final inspection/acceptance operations (telemetry, temperature, vibrations, etc.) carried out by technicians
- Analysing results and sharing potential improvements
- Writing test reports and validating them
Skills and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical or related field) or a similar technical discipline is required.
- Rigour, attention to detail and organisational skills
- Autonomous but able to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of vacuum techniques is a plus
- English is a plus to facilitate communication with other teams
