Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

We want you as a talented AIT intern to help us in our mission by supporting the integration and test activities on mechanical and propulsion system.

You will be successful in this role if you are able to help us:

• Supporting the process definition and tools setup

• Sequence definition

• Procedures writing

• Supporting the AIT operations / executions / tests

Tasks:

Your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:

• You will be supporting the procurement of tools not already defined (if any new needs)

• You will be supporting the writing of the procedures detailling the assembly operations and tests

• You may have to support the team to write other mechanical procedures for structure assembly or test setups

• You will be responsible to improve the processes and procedure with the lessons learns of the previous operations (mainly improvement of the tests)

• You will be a key player fortest reports writing

• You may have to support the team in other factory setup as we are a growing company, the perimeter can evolve along the mission.

What we would love to see from you:

In the role of propulsion intern ideally, you will have the following:

• studying for an Engineering degree (Master or PhD) in mechanical science / propulsion or equivalent

• Willingness to contribute to build and support a new team

• Organised and rigourous

• Hands-on approach

• Inventive and problem solver

• team spirit
