Assisting in the end-to-end design and development of a chemical thruster, including detailed design and manufacturing.
Performing engineering calculations, simulations, and trade studies to evaluate performance metrics such as thrust, specific impulse, and efficiency.
Producing CAD designs and detailed drawings for manufacturing of different thruster components.
Planning and operating hydraulic characterization tests for thruster component acceptance testing.
Assisting in the assembly, integration, and troubleshooting of thruster prototypes and test setups.
Working closely with other thruster development engineers to develop and execute hotfire tests.
Analyzing test data to ensure systems meet or exceed performance and using the acquired knowledge to improve subsequent designs.
Preparing detailed technical documentation, including test reports, design reviews, and performance analyses.
Presenting findings to team members and participating in design reviews and project discussions.
