Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

We want you as a talented Hardware In the Loop (HIL) Platform Engineer to help us in our mission by contributing to the definition and integration of the qualification platform for our orbital vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as Hardware In the Loop (HIL) Platform Engineer, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:

• Defining the architecture of the various Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform

• Designing and manufacturing harness and ground electronic equipment for the Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform

• Procuring building blocks for the Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform from multiple suppliers

• Integrating the various Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform

• Validating the Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform prior to connexion with the flight hardware

• Supporting in defining and planning Hardware In the Loop (HIL) test campaigns

• Automating of Hardware In the Loop (HIL) testing

• Developing and running test cases on the flight hardware and post-processing test results

What we would love to see from you

In the role of Hardware In the Loop (HIL) Platform Engineer ideally, you will have the following:

• A masters/bachelor degree in electronic science or engineering

• A good theoretical and/or practical understanding of electronic systems

• Exposure to designing and implementing test systems for electronics

• Previous Hardware In the Loop (HIL) platform experience

• Basic knowledge of verification and validation of avionics and embedded software

• Basic understanding of space avionics
