Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Lead Quality Technician - 2nd Shift to join our growing team. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Lead Quality Technician will oversee and support the quality departments including, receiving inspection, PCBA inspection, document review and quality related activities on the production floor.
This role is on our 2nd shift (Monday-Friday) from 2:30 – 11 PM.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assign priorities to a team of technicians who perform receiving inspections, final inspections, troubleshooting, document review and inspections on the production floor.
- Communicate directly with supervisors and quality engineers for guidance on issues during operational tasks.
- Document all maintenance actions on Atlassian-associated software (JIRA).
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Ensure Quality Technicians follow internal procedures and processes that meet QMS requirements.
- Support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) tasks and activities to support Quality Engineers.
- Understand Engineering Drawings, Manufacturing and Test Instructions to provide guidance to other quality technicians.
- Lead Material Review Board (MRB) Room activities to ensure Non-Conforming Product follow QAP requirements.
