This role will be remote first with limited travel through August 2025 with the expectation that employees will begin working 2 days per week in our dedicated office space starting September 2025.
About the Role
We’re looking for a driven self-starter and adaptive, analytical problem solver to join Taskrabbit as a Senior Specialist for Supply Acquisition. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Moving Operations, you’ll be driving the growth of the business through supply (independent contractor) acquisition and onboarding for our Moving category. Your work is inherently cross-functional, and will give you unrivaled breadth and depth of experience - you will very quickly develop a deep understanding of the mechanics of the business, and will regularly collaborate across multiple teams to drive company growth and quality via supply.
The ideal candidate alternates seamlessly between having a strategic perspective of where we need to be, mapping out how to get there, and leading tactical experiments toward that goal, all while ensuring that we onboard strong supply where needed. They relentlessly optimize for efficiency and quality and enjoy the challenge of developing operational solutions. They must be passionate advocates for improving the customer and independent contractor experience.
This is not a supervisory position, but there is extensive work with a BPO team.
What You'll Work On:
- Create and manage dashboards that track supply needs across the U.S., generating plans to acquire new supply. This will include collaboration with Marketing and Data, among others.
- Own and continually optimize our application funnel in Fountain (an applicant tracking system), looking for ways to reduce application times and improve conversion rates while maintaining registrant quality.
- Establish registrant requirements and own the overall registration process (i.e. market waitlisting/gating; determining document requirements; ensuring agents are reviewing accordingly; determining information requirements and ensuring proper vetting.
- Lead a BPO team in all tasks related to new supply growth, the application process, and onboarding of new supply. Coordinate staffing and scheduling with BPO management.
- Drive step-changes in operational performance - map out complex processes, develop and track new metrics, and implement creative solutions to optimize or automate core processes.
- Develop and execute strategic projects for direct bottom-line impact - think of new opportunities, run experiments, and work cross-functionally to plan and execute innovative solutions around quality acquisition and cost reduction.
- Design and implement programs intended to increase the number of top-of-funnel applicants above and beyond those we bring in through paid marketing campaigns.
- Partner closely with the Success and Fulfillment teams to ensure independent contractors are in the right place at the right time, providing a high level of service to customers.
Your Areas Of Expertise:
- At least 4 years of work experience in strategy consulting, investment banking or operations at a tech startup or marketplace company.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
- Ability to break down high-level business problems into concrete, systematic solutions.
- A knack for experimentation and a track record of tangible results piloting and implementing processes.
- Strong analytical skills to self-serve on most data-related inquiries.
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech & product teams to co-create ops tools.
- Strong project and program management expertise with sharp organizational skills and the ability to create and manage to a detailed plan.
- Ability to manage an offshore team with clarity and consistency.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, GSuite. Added bonus if you have familiarity with Sigma, Looker, and Fountain.
Compensation & Benefits:
At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.
The base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $111,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
