As the Marketing Manager, you will report to the Director of Marketing and play a pivotal role in executing Taranis' marketing strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (including commercial, customer success, product, and operations), assist in managing freelancers and agencies, and oversee end-to-end campaign planning and execution across various channels. Your responsibilities will span paid and organic social media, industry media, programmatic digital media (display, CTV, search), direct mail, email, and more. This role requires B2B and account-based marketing expertise to support our retail partners in engaging growers within their local markets. You will also be responsible for content creation, brand identity, and event management, providing creative direction to ensure alignment with our brand identity and vision, as well as overseeing our marketing portal.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting ag retailers and their grower customers. Channels include paid and organic social, industry media (print/digital), programmatic digital (display, CTV, search), direct mail, and email.
  • Content Marketing: Develop and oversee engaging B2B content tailored to our audience in agriculture. Support content creation efforts in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Brand Identity and Creative Oversight: Maintain a cohesive and innovative brand identity, ensuring all campaigns reflect Taranis' solutions, values and goals.
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Implement targeted ABM strategies to enhance Taranis' partnerships with agricultural retailers, driving greater reach and engagement with grower customers.
  • Event Management: Assist in planning and executing industry events, trade shows and other brand-building activities.
  • Freelancer and Agency Management: Coordinate with freelancers and agencies, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Email Marketing and Automation: Develop, deploy and optimize email marketing campaigns, utilizing marketing automation tools to nurture leads and build relationships with key audiences.
  • Marketing Portal Oversight: Manage the marketing portal to ensure assets and collateral are accessible and up-to-date for internal and partner use.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of campaigns and tactics, providing insights to improve future strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on multi-channel campaign management and B2B strategies.
  • A strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges of ag retailers and growers is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, WordPress, and HubSpot.
  • Experience with marketing automation, email marketing, and CRM tools.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with analytical skills to track and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations and events as needed.
