Job Summary:

‍We are seeking a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. They will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between software development and our deployed applications. They will automate and optimize our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) operations and processes. They will build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Additionally, they will troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of complex systems and working with cutting-edge technologies.

KeyResponsibilities:

Automation: Automate and optimize our CI/CD operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment,monitoring, and operations. Implementand improve CI/CD pipelines for various software applications.

Collaboration: Work closely with engineering to ensure rapid software deployment.

System Maintenance: Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of applications.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Integrate monitoring and alerting systems to meet internal technical goals and external business needs. Familiarity with PagerDuty preferred. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and applications.

Infrastructure as Code: Use infrastructure as code methodologies to manage corporate cloud platform.

Security: Implement and manage security tools and practices to ensure the security of IT systems and software applications.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with proven expertise in deploying and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Skills: Strong background in Linux/UnixAdministration. Proficiency in automated provisioning management using Terraform or an equivalent. Proficiency withCI/CD tools using GitHub Actions. Proficiency in Bash. Familiarity with Javascript, Python and SQL.

Cloud Experience: Experience with Google Cloud Platform highly preferred or an equivalent (AWS, Azure) including management and provisioning.

Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.

Networking Knowledge: Understanding of networking concepts to include troubleshooting experience.

Monitoring and Altering: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, Slack, GCP Logging and GCP Monitoring.
