SWISSto12 is one of the world’s fastest-growing aerospace companies, evolving from its pioneering use of 3D printing technologies for high-performance Radio Frequency (RF) products and applications to recently announcing the manufacture of entire geostationary telecom satellites, called HummingSat, that define a new category in space.
HummingSat is the world’s first commercial telecom GEO SmallSat developed in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). Its uniquely compact size combined with highly capable telecom payloads allows telecommunications operators to deploy a cost-efficient, compact, and agile asset without sacrificing performance or security. HummingSat has been selected by Intelsat to build the I-45 satellite, by Inmarsat to build three I-8 satellites, and recently by Astrum Mobile to build the NEASTAR-1 satellite.
SWISSto12 is also a leading provider of Radio-Frequency (RF) products and sub-systems. The company’s patented 3D printing technologies and associated product designs are unique to deliver lightweight, compact, highly performing, and competitive RF products.

The Head of FP&A will lead activities relating to planning and budgeting and performance management. Your role will act as a business partner with the company’s two main product divisions: satellites and RF products. This role report to the CFO/CSO.

Job Requirements
- Planning and budgeting: Manage the annual budgeting and planning process, as well as ongoing revisions of outlook
- Business partner: Work closely with the two product segments, Satellites and RF products, to provide financial insights to optimize tradeoffs, ensure alignment with business plan, mitigate material financial risks and support execution discipline of large projects to be delivered on time and within budget
- Working capital management: Perform detailed working capital reviews by projects, products and business lines to identify opportunities to improve cash flow
- Business intelligence: Provide insights of profitability and cash generation across products and product lines. Deep dives of financial data, across products, customers, segments to identify commercial optimization opportunities and prioritize Capex and Opex to high return opportunities.
- Process and Systems Improvements: Review and design planning and forecast processes including alignment with sales, engineering and production teams. Design models and forecast tools, to optimize, enhance efficiency and ensure auditability and documentation.
Job Responsibilities
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Economics or a related field
- Professional Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in FP&A or similar
- Financial knowledge: Solid understanding of Financial Statements, proficiency in financial analyses, modelling and reporting
- Analytical skills: strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Tools Proficiency: excellent MS Suite proficiency, use of ERP systems and data extraction and analyses.
- Business management: Understanding of business operations and ability to effectively support and challenge different functions to ensure execution discipline
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication, attention to details and ability to effectively present data to various stakeholders
