Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as export/trade compliance officer in an international/industrial group.
- Proven track record of responsibility for applying for export control license.
- A good understanding of export control topics in Switzerland, EU and US regulations including processes and documentation.
- Ability to present ideas accurately and convincingly, and to build and maintain productive relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and structured contractual and commercial documentation.
- Excellent relational skills and ability to work in a team with different professional and cultural backgrounds.
Job Responsibilities
Export control:
- Take an active role in improving and strengthening export control company’ processes by supporting, developing and maintaining export control compliance tools and documentation.
- Keeping accurate records and establishing export control plan for SWISSto12’s programs.
- Keeping records of in-house products classification.
- Continuously train colleagues and raise awareness on the basics of export control topics.
Compliance:
- Take an active role in improving and strengthening screening process of Customers and Suppliers in relation to export control and compliance regulations.
- Ensuring and supporting compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including compliance, data protection, anti-corruption practices etc…
- Occasionally, you will be asked to participate in general tasks and services inherent to a dynamic fast-growing company.
- Work in closed cooperation with management and external advisors and law firm.
- Position reporting directly to SWISSto12 ‘s General Counsel.
