Sweep is hiring a Product Designer, tasked to make Sweep an outstanding experience for our users, and a real driver of change for our planet

Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?

You are on the front line of the sales growth with the sales team, working on closing the opportunities and making sure the success team can deliver real impact for our customers.

You will have a key role in developing the Sweep user experience. Together with the team, you will turn complex sustainability standards, data sets and interactions into interfaces that are easy to understand and a joy to navigate.

This will require you to develop a deep understanding of corporate sustainability practices and combine research, design thinking and user testing to create smart interactions.

You will be seeing projects through from start to finish, working in close collaboration with our product, engineering and carbon staff.

To be more specific, this includes:

• Design and Development: Create intuitive interfaces from complex sustainability data. Lead projects from ideation to implementation in collaboration with our Product, Engineering, and Success teams

• Product Design: Drive our design process, from high-level architecture to detailed interactions. Develop prototypes and interaction models focused on user-friendliness

• Design System: Maintain a consistent brand and UI across all customer touchpoints. Help build and document a scalable, accessible design system

• User Research: Conduct user research and design critiques. Gather insights to influence UX and feature development

• Advocacy: Foster a positive design culture within Sweep. Represent our mission in the design industry, building networks and thought leadership

Glad you asked. This is who we’re looking for:

Qualifications 🏆

• You bring a minimum of 4 years of experience in software product design
• Experience in software-as-a-service environments, ideally in the B2B space
• Proven expertise turning complex business problems into simple and engaging products
• Strong command of interaction design, visual design and information architecture
• Experience working closely with multi-disciplinary teams
• Adept at communicating and prototyping interactions rapidly at all levels of resolution
• A deep knowledge of modern web UI patterns
