Sweep is hiring an Office Manager Intern, based in Paris, tasked to contribute and coordinate the employee experience. We’re working on a hybrid model, with head offices in Paris, London and Montpellier, but also with many employees working remotely across the globe.

Sweep maps climate and ESG data across an entire business to reduce carbon emissions, improve social and environmental performance, and create audit-ready reports to run the best sustainability programs.

Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?

As part of the People Team, you will work directly with our Office Manager, to ensure a positive and engaging workplace environment for all employees. You collaborate with all the other departments to design, implement, and continuously improve initiatives for the employee satisfaction, well-being, and overall experience at Sweep.

To be more specific, this includes:

1. Office Operations Support ☎️

  • Assist in maintaining a well-organized and efficient office environment
  • Manage office supplies inventory and ensure adequate stock levels
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office maintenance and repairs
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and shipments

2. Administrative Assistance 👫

  • Provide administrative support to the Employee Experience Design Manager
  • Assist in organizing events
  • Prepare documents, presentations, and reports as needed
  • Help with data entry, filing, and organizing office records

3. Employee Experience Support 🌱

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of employee experience initiatives
  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall employee experience
  • Gather feedback from employees and assist in implementing improvements
  • Co-own our Employee’s onboarding and offboarding cycles

4. Communication and Coordination 🌐

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal inquiries and requests through our ticketing system, Slack or emails
  • Facilitate communication between different departments and teams
  • Assist in drafting internal communications and announcements
  • Coordinate office events, including setting up conference rooms and arranging catering if needed

Qualifications 🏆

  • Currently pursuing a master's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, etc.)
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • Familiar with McBook, proficient in Google Suite, Macbook environment and all tech tools
  • Prior experience in office management, administration, or related roles is a plus
  • Experience in Startups, Scaleups or in Tech is a plus

  • You’re an empathetic team player that is great at building lasting relationships
  • Attuned to remote collaboration, using digital tools and meticulously documenting work
