Description
Boltline is a cloud-based platform built for complex hardware engineering and manufacturing. Designed by rocket scientists, it helps teams move fast with real-time inventory tracking, parts and process traceability, automated workflows, and seamless collaboration. Purpose-built for dynamic environments, Boltline supports everything from prototyping to production while staying ITAR compliant and fully integrated.
Responsibilities
- Product Positioning & Messaging: Define and refine Boltline’s product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for current and future offerings, tailored to advanced hardware innovators
- Lead Product Launch Strategy: Develop and execute launch strategies for new features, modules, and enhancements, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, and product teams. Focus on pre-sale awareness and lead generation, and help with post-sale strategic engagement
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct ongoing research into customer needs, industry trends in hardware engineering, and competitor positioning to inform product roadmap and marketing strategies
- Sales Enablement: Build and deliver sales enablement assets, training, and tools that empower our Sales team to articulate value and close high-value deals
- Customer Insights & Advocacy: Represent Go-to-Market teams on voice of the customer initiatives, tell compelling customer stories, and translate feedback into product narratives
- Cross-functional Leadership: Act as the bridge between Product Management Go-to-Market teams, and Stoke Space marketing team, ensuring consistent messaging and seamless execution
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor future product marketers as the team grows, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and data-driven decision making
- Demand Generation: Drive lead generation through campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn ads, webinars) to deliver qualified leads, optimizing with tools like HubSpot or Google Analytics, to support the sales team’s pipeline
- Stoke Marketing Coordination: Collaborate closely with Stoke Space's marketing team to align Boltline campaigns, events and leverage shared resources
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, ideally in hardware technology, aerospace, or a related industry, with at least 3+ years of experience managing or leading marketing initiatives
- Proven success leading product launches and developing messaging frameworks that resonate with startups and enterprise audiences in technical fields
- Strong collaboration skills with Product, Sales, and Founder teams
- Experience in market research, competitive intelligence, and market positioning, including direct work with advanced hardware companies (e.g., aerospace, defense, nuclear, alternate energy, robotics etc.)
- Comfort with 25% travel for industry events and customers meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex hardware engineering concepts into compelling narratives
- Passion for improving the success of Boltline customers and our mission of streamlining hardware innovation by killing legacy PLM/MES/ERP/WMS systems
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and strategic skills, including experience running demand gen campaigns with measurable results
- Familiarity with hardware workflows and tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Google Analytics
- A network of professionals and experts within innovative hardware ecosystems, such as aerospace or robotics communities

Compensation
Target Levels:
- $125,000 - $175,000
This position has a bonus and equity plan in addition to the base salary.
Our job posts are intentionally written to attract a wide variety of experience levels, and we make decisions about the right fit on a per-candidate basis.
Your actual level and base salary will be decided based on your specific experience and skill level.
ITAR Requirements
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
