Description

“Scaling rocket development, from lightbulb to liftoff” – That is our goal as the Productivity tools software engineering team here at Stoke. Reusable launch systems are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. An instrumental ingredient to making reusable launch vehicles is the ability to move fast. As a Full Stack Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for building industry leading productivity tools to set up and maintain internal and external applications. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable delivering front-end components as well as working with and developing backend data stores and APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, Implement, Document, and Deploy code across all of Stoke’s web and cloud applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and releases
  • Develop clean front-end components using react/Next.js
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and design trends

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Demonstrated history of delivering reliable and maintainable components, services, and applications from interactive UI to backend services and databases
  • Strong proficiency with React and Next.js
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

Target Levels:

  • Level 3 Range: $143,300 - $215,000
  • Level 4 Range: $172,000 - $257,900
  • Level 5 Range: $206,400 - $309,500

Your actual level and base salary will be decided based on your specific experience and skill level.
