In this Security Engineer role you will:
Design and implement robust security measures across our enterprise web application and infrastructure
Lead security architecture decisions and drive adoption of security best practices throughout the development lifecycle
Collaborate with engineering team to build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines
Ensure compliance with FedRAMP processes requirements
Contribute to and optimize our AWS infrastructure, with a focus on GovCloud environments
Implement and maintain comprehensive security monitoring, auditing, and observability solutions
This may be a good fit if you have:
4+ years of professional experience in Security Engineering or DevSecOps roles
Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
Experience in Kubernetes cluster management and container security
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
Experience with SRG/STIG container hardening and RMF security controls
Deep understanding of modern software development practices and their security implications
A deep knowledge of DevSecOps and infrastructure, information security, cybersecurity, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Early stage start up experience
Experience working with aerospace or defense clients
Familiarity with FedRAMP and CMMC 2.0 compliance requirements
Experience building and maintaining security monitoring solutions
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
