We are giving life to on-orbit services with our Otter servicing vehicle. We have raised over $8M in venture funding to-date, and have been recognized by NASA and the US Space Force.</p><p>This summer, we’re launching our Otter Pup demonstration mission to space. Throughout 2023, we’ll be focused on ensuring a successful Otter Pup mission, as well as continuing development of our full-scale Otter servicing vehicle</p><p> <strong>Position Description</strong> </p><p>Starfish Space is building momentum across commercial and government customers for our forthcoming Otter servicing vehicle. We are looking for the right individual to dive into our ongoing business development efforts, helping us to win proposals and generate revenue commitments. This critical role requires researching opportunities, initiating discussions, building key relationships, managing the sales process and winning contracts. This is a great opportunity for the right person to be part of an exciting and growing endeavor in the space industry. </p><p> <strong>Qualifications</strong> </p><ul> <li>Must be a US person (citizen or permanent resident) </li> <li>Willing to work from Tukwila, Washington, or remotely from a US aerospace hub such as Washington, D.C. or Los Angeles</li> <li>Capable of working a dynamic, fast paced startup environment </li> <li>College degree or equivalent experience</li> </ul><p> <strong>Desired Experience</strong> </p><ul> <li>Aerospace industry / educational background highly preferred </li> <li>Proven track record of business development / sales success</li> <li>Experience with commercial satellite companies and/or space-related government agencies a plus </li> <li>Excellent written and verbal skills along with a high level of professionalism and integrity</li> </ul><p> <strong>ITAR Requirements</strong> </p><p>To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.</p>
