SR. CHANNEL MARKETING MANAGER (STARLINK)
The Sr. Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, driving, and leading channel marketing activity for worldwide retail accounts (non-Amazon). The ideal candidate will ensure proper translation of product marketing and branding strategies for the company when developing retail channel plans. Proper alignment with go-to-market plan and retail sales objectives are required. The candidate will have responsibility for the budget to drive the channel marketing activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the worldwide plan and assure financial compliance.
- Spearhead spending guidelines and make decisions based on ROI analysis.
- Lead engagement with key customers to provide a visible brand and category champion at retail accounts.
- Create a process to support varying commercialization strategies to drive business growth and achieve channel revenue goal.
- Develop and oversee the marketing plan for all channels within the region.
- Analyze, evaluate, and recommend programs to both optimize existing retail and marketing channels and grow new channels.
- Create channel campaigns to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets.
- Utilize data and shopper insights to provide recommendations to drive category distribution and market share, including working with tools to help drive customer purchase funnel.
- Oversee day-to-day channel marketing operations throughout global markets.
- Partner with brand marketing, growth and retail sales for key accounts to drive promotion planning.
- Plan and execute global trade shows and exhibits.
- Review Sales/POS/Promotions analysis to provide strategic, actionable recommendations for channel offerings, demand, and retailer planning.
- Work with the sales team to ensure brand and marketing communications plans are executed effectively and efficiently to meet sales objectives
- Work closely with the supply, growth, and sales teams to gather and prioritize product and channel insights and information needs of our online and offline retail partners.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 6+ years of related experience in B2C / Retail sales, channel, or partner marketing.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience developing demand generation and sales enablement campaigns.
- Experience with channel programs and partner portals.
- Experience managing content creation.
- Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements.
- Strong project, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate autonomously and self-direct.
- A demonstrated track record of thinking big and executing with sustained results.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Position may involve long hours and weekend work when needed to meet critical deadlines.
- Up to 25% travel may be needed.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Sr. Channel Marketing Manager: $125,000.00 - $180,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
