Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together. The Company’s three core products are Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world; Lens Studio, an augmented reality platform that powers AR across Snapchat and other services; and its AR glasses, Spectacles.

The Legal & Policy Team is Snap’s dedicated in-house law firm, policy consultant, lobbyist, thought partner, and all-around advisor. This team helps Snap do the right thing the right way, make better decisions, understand and manage risks, and creatively navigate challenges, both external and internal. We partner with Snap team members on a wide array of matters, including privacy, product, IP, commercial transactions, corporate governance, employment, acquisitions, litigation, and policy, and social impact. We value the power of diversity, as we continually strive to build an innovative and inclusive leadership culture centered on Snap's values of Kind, Smart, and Creative.

We’re looking for a Compliance Manager to join Snap’s Integrity & Compliance Team! In this role, you will help lead and evolve core elements of Snap’s global Integrity & Compliance program. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of high-impact areas, including anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC), political law and charitable giving, antitrust, business records governance, and policy development. You will also oversee Snap’s Code of Conduct, manage key compliance systems and disclosures, support cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement through risk assessments and lessons learned. This is a highly cross-functional role that offers the opportunity to help shape a values-driven culture of compliance across Snap.

What You’ll Do

  • ABAC & Political Law: Lead compliance efforts related to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, political contributions, lobbying, and charitable donations.

  • Antitrust & Fair Competition: Implement controls and provide guidance to mitigate antitrust risks and promote fair competition practices.

  • Business Records & Governance: Develop and oversee policies for business records retention and employee communications tools to support legal and regulatory compliance.

  • Risk Assessment & Continuous Improvement: Conduct risk assessments, synthesize insights from past matters, and lead initiatives to enhance program effectiveness based on lessons learned.

  • Policy Governance: Serve as lead for the company’s “Policy on Policies” framework, ensuring clear governance and process ownership.

  • Codes of Conduct: Own and maintain Snap’s Code of Conduct and Sales Code of Conduct, ensuring alignment with company values and applicable laws.

  • Litigation & Investigations Support: Partner with Legal on compliance aspects of litigation and internal investigations.

  • Cross-Functional Compliance Advisor: Collaborate closely with Commercial Legal, Sales, Content, Partnerships, and Philanthropy teams to advise on and address compliance risks and obligations.

  • Training & Outreach: Design and deliver engaging training and communication strategies to promote awareness and drive a strong compliance culture across Snap.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or related corporate risk functions

  • Demonstrated knowledge of core compliance topics such as ABAC, antitrust, political law, records retention, and corporate ethics

  • Familiarity with established compliance frameworks, such as the U.S. Department of Justice’s Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs

  • Strong work ethic and a team-first mindset — willing to take on tasks both big and small to get the job done

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
