At Snap Spectacles we are developing Augmented Reality wearable devices, putting virtual objects in the real world. We’re looking for a Software Engineering intern to join the Spectacles team!
What you’ll do:
Design, improve, and support reusable components, interactions, frameworks and SDKs that enable immersive experiences on Snap Spectacles Augmented Reality Glasses
Develop components of the operating system powering Spectacles, SnapOS
Participate in code and design reviews
Interact with design, interactive engineering, and product teams to shape and launch products
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience in one or more object oriented languages like C++, Kotlin or Java
Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
A strong desire to innovate and push the boundaries of what AR can do
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a BSc, Masters or Ph.D. program in Computer Science or a related field
Applicants must be eligible to work in Switzerland
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with programming for VR/AR using applications like Lens Studio or Unity
Experience with operating systems, resource-constrained devices and 3d graphics
Practice designing SDKs and APIs
