The Product team uses creativity, insights, and operational excellence to steer our product vision across Snap Inc. This team of designers, scientists, and product managers work in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that bring our community together in new and special ways.

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, International Community Growth to join the Product team at Snap Inc!

What you’ll do:

  • Help define and manage our strategic growth initiatives into new markets and audiences in coordination with our HQ organization and in-market leads

  • Strategize, coordinate and drive our community and ad inventory growth into emerging markets and audiences

  • Manage our product and marketing strategies for emerging markets including go-to-market planning, product ideation, market research, customer segmentation, and performance marketing strategization

  • Develop plans to increase the supply of ad inventory from emerging markets and create long-term investment plans by market.

  • Work with our localization and engineering teams to ensure our products and content are properly translated and appropriately localized for our target demographics in emerging markets

  • Partner with our content team to ensure proper content localization and moderation and to develop culturally relevant content strategies in emerging markets

  • Engage with key content, marketing, and distribution partners (like telcos and OEMs) to develop community and revenue growth partnerships in emerging markets

  • Develop 3-5 year plans and P&Ls to build investments plans for new markets and ad-supported businesses to report against progress milestones

  • Monitor local supply of ad inventory and develop programs to increase ad inventory to support growing revenue functions in emerging markets

  • Develop and manage feedback processes between in-market teams and HQ functions such as product, localization, sales, and content

  • Partner with our data science and insights teams to generate actionable strategic insights

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience developing and executing on strategies and playbooks for launching products into new markets and market segments

  • Ability to drive process improvements, always contributing actively to conversations and workshops as well as proactively suggesting new more efficient ways of working

  • Extremely strong project management capabilities

  • Ability to influence & partner with key internal stakeholder teams to ensure shared vision and drive initiatives forward

  • Excellent presentation skills and comfort presenting to and communicating with senior leadership

  • Excellent analytical skills and comfort dealing with large data sets

  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams across time-zones

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field or equivalent years of experience

  • 8+ years working in Operations, Strategy Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Project Management or similar function

  • 8+ years of experience leading high-visibility cross-functional work streams with proven experience launching product or programs into new markets and market segments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with SQL and deep experience with data analysis and insight generation

  • Experience working with data visualization tools and in interpreting trends from vast amount of data

  • Ability to structure problems and develop / test hypotheses in a logical and streamlined fashion

  • In-market experience launching new products or programs and managing supply-side ad inventory

  • A passion for Snapchat and creativity!

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $244,000-$366,000 annually.


Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $232,000-$348,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $208,000-$311,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
