Position Overview
The Electronics Engineer plays a key role in the design of test benches to support the development and production of Skyloom's space lasers. This role involves the design, simulation, implementation, and testing of electronic PCB boards, sub-assemblies, and harnesses, ensuring they meet both verbal and written requirements. The Electronics Engineer will work closely with the engineering team to ensure all electronic components meet technical specifications. Additionally, the Electronics Engineer will document all stages of the development lifecycle in alignment with Skyloom's design and development culture.
Duties:
- Design complex electronics systems.
- Perform Simulation, Part Stress Analysis, FMECAs and Reliability Assessments.
- Perform multilayer PCB Layouts.
- Verify requirements and performance in designed and manufactured hardware.
- Generate “Ready to Production” output documentation.
Minimum Skills Requirements:
- Experience in Library Component Management.
- Experience in Altium Designer.
- Knowledge of circuit simulation tools like LTspice or Pspice.
- Very good understanding of design techniques for high-speed digital circuits.
- Experience in designing complex electronics systems. Multi-board architecture.
- Experience in managing full electronics project life cycle, design, prototyping, production, testing.
- Strong understanding of electronics reliability topics.
- Basic embedded programming knowledge C/C++ or similar language.
- Basic knowledge of FPGA design techniques.
- Agile approach to designing electronics. Multiple fast prototyping cycle.
- Advanced proficiency in English
Required Education:
- 5+ years of experience in designing PCB, schematics and layout.
- Education equivalent to a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
