Quality Control Technician for Aerospace Production
The role of quality control is crucial in ensuring that products or services meet the required standards of quality, reliability, safety, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and gauges to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of quality control data for analysis and reporting purposes.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
Conduct root cause analysis investigations to determine the underlying causes of quality deviations and implement corrective measures.
Participate in internal quality audits, providing support and documentation as required.

Expertise:
Proficiency in quality control methodologies and techniques.

Competence in compliance with quality standards: ISO 9001 and AS9100.
Experience working in clean rooms (ISO 7 / ISO 8)
Nice to have (not mandatory):
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is a plus.
- ISO 9001 Auditor.
- AS9100 Auditor.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends and overtime as needed.
