Demand Gen Marketeer (B2B)
SkyGeo
Job description
We are SkyGeo, a company that provides our clients with essential geotechnical insights. Every day, we help them understand, at a very early stage, how ground movement will impact their valuable assets. We have built an excellent and divers team to treat InSAR increasingly as a professional service. To continue enhancing our ability to provide these insights at scale, we require the best people to work with us. We are seeking colleagues who want to help build the business and grow professionally by discovering a wide range of applications
The role
As Marketing Assistant / General Marketeer (B2B), you will support the execution of SkyGeo’s marketing engine across content, web, campaigns, events and sales enablement. This is a hands-on role for someone who can keep multiple workstreams moving, turn technical input into clear B2B messaging, and help us show up as an authoritative, reliable partner in risk-driven ground-movement monitoring — not a company that “just delivers data”.
You will work closely with the Marketing Director and collaborate with subject-matter experts across geoscience, engineering, consulting and sales. Your output will help drive awareness, qualified inbound interest and stronger sales conversations across our focus industries (mining, energy and civil engineering/infrastructure).
What you will do
Content creation & distribution
● Support the development of B2B content across channels: LinkedIn posts, blogs, landing pages, email copy, case studies, one-pagers, webinar promotion and gated assets.
● Translate complex InSAR and ground-motion topics into clear, credible narratives for professional audiences (technical where needed, accessible where possible).
● Help maintain a consistent message around monitoring, analysis, interpretation and risk — and the actions clients can take from our insights.
● Repurpose and adapt content for different industries (e.g., mining, energy, infrastructure) and regions.
Design & asset production
● Create and adapt marketing and sales collateral that looks professional and on-brand, including brochures, one-pagers, technical paper covers, case study layouts, webinar assets, and simple slide visuals.
● Produce LinkedIn creative (organic posts, document posts, banners) and paid social assets (ad variations in multiple formats), working from campaign objectives and messaging provided.
● Resize, reformat and version assets efficiently (different aspect ratios, language versions, sector variants) without quality dropping.
● Maintain and organise reusable design components (templates, imagery, icon use, typography), ensuring assets stay consistent and easy to update.
Website & SEO support
● Publish and maintain content on the SkyGeo website (Squarespace): page updates, formatting, basic on-page SEO, internal linking and CTAs.
● Support the SEO roadmap by working from keyword priorities and helping improve organic visibility over time.
● Maintain and improve conversion paths for lead capture (contact forms, gated content, downloads) and help keep the site clean and current.
Campaign support & lead generation
● Support multi-channel B2B campaigns (primarily LinkedIn + email), from setup through to reporting.
● Assist with lead nurture activity and follow-up flows tied to downloads, contact requests and event/webinar engagement.
● Coordinate with sales to ensure campaign activity supports real commercial priorities and target accounts.
Sales enablement & coordination
● Keep marketing and sales collateral organised, up to date and easy to reuse (one-pagers, sector slides, case studies, capability decks, event collateral).
● Support event and webinar marketing logistics: timelines, promotion, abstract deadlines (where relevant), and post-event follow-up materials.
● Help maintain a consistent “red thread” across assets so teams can use materials confidently.
Marketing operations & reporting
● Maintain trackers and calendars (content plan, campaign plan, events plan, asset library) and keep work moving without dropped details.
● Support performance reporting using GA4, Search Console and platform analytics (LinkedIn/email), focusing on what’s working and what needs tightening.
● Contribute to improving basic workflows around tracking, lead routing and internal handoffs (in collaboration with others).
Job requirements
What you’ll bring
● 2–5 years of B2B marketing experience (or equivalent proof through work), ideally in a technical, engineering, industrial or professional services environment.
● Strong writing and editing skills in English, with the ability to sound credible, human and direct (no fluff).
● Confidence working with technical subject matter experts and turning their input into usable marketing assets.
● Solid marketing execution skills: planning, creating, publishing, tracking, improving.
● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; you can manage multiple inputs and deadlines without chaos.
● Comfort with basic analytics and reporting, and a practical mindset towards measurement and iteration.
Design skills
● Practical, hands-on ability to create and edit marketing visuals using Canva and/or Adobe tools (especially Photoshop; Illustrator is a plus).
● Experience producing B2B collateral and digital assets: brochures, one-pagers, technical paper layouts, case studies, LinkedIn creatives, display banners, and paid social ads.
● Strong eye for layout, hierarchy and readability, with the discipline to follow brand guidelines and keep outputs consistent.
● Ability to work quickly and accurately from existing templates, while still improving quality and clarity.
Nice-to-haves
● Familiarity with geotechnical, mining, energy, infrastructure, earth observation, GIS, remote sensing or adjacent technical fields.
● SEO experience (keyword use, internal linking, on-page improvements, content optimisation).
● Experience with marketing automation and CRM workflows (lead routing, tagging, nurture sequences).
