Job Summary

The Senior NPI Engineer is responsible for turning a new product into a qualified product that can be mass produced at our OSAT for both engineering and production use. NPI engineer is involved throughout the new product development cycle from product definition stage to release to production stage and it is critical bridge between design team and manufacturing team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual looking to contribute and learn in a collaborative team environment. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross functional team.
  • Provide technical support and training to operation teato support new product development and define manufacturing flow.
  • NPI sample generation and yield analysis.
  • Create product reliability test plan, manage product reliability tests with external labs and present qualification results.
  • Review product reliability test hardware and test program.
  • Generate Reliability test report.
  • Develop automation tools for product qualification and process analysis.
  • Focuses on process efficiency, safety and quality.
  • Supports the transition of new products from development to manufacturing.
  • Supports OSAT to establish pre-production test infrastructure.
  • Verification of OSAT production line readiness.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • MS in Electrical Engineering. PhD preferred. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered.
  • 10+ years of experience in new product development.
  • Strong fundamental understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Strong fundamental understanding on semiconductor reliability concepts and failure mechanisms.
