How You’ll Make An Impact

This position requires an experienced Technical Program Manager with strong leadership capabilities, specific skills, crafting and managing large, technical programs that include multiple internal stakeholders and partners. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating, coordinating, maintaining and reporting on; driving programs, and cross functional accountability; championing and evolving a best-practices, on time program delivery process; organizing all stakeholders and challenging business, analytics, and engineering partners and team members.

This role requires collaboration across the business to articulate strategy and requirements for Data Products, Services, and Analytics. You'll be responsible for guiding business, analytics, and development teams throughout the entire lifecycle. Regular communication and bringing transparency by providing updates on key program statuses, identifying risks, and aligning with business strategy will be a key aspect of this position. You will also be responsible for designing a project management framework for a diverse array of analytics teams that facilitates exceptional responsiveness to stakeholder needs, transparency into day-to-day progress, and early identification and communication of upstream dependencies.

What You’ll Do

The ideal candidate for this role will have a background encompassing multiple complete product development cycles, demonstrating exceptional analytical capabilities and sound product judgment. Success in this is a combination of excellent technical aptitude, problem-solving mastery, and effective communication skills. This role needs to bring experience in defining rolling out operations that drive efficiencies for strategy, innovation, and delivery of programs, including identifying opportunities, leveraging/introducing methodologies to prioritize, gathering requirements, breaking down the work, and coordinating efforts to schedule, and deploy.

What You’ll Need

  • 10+ years of engineering experience
  • 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects
  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 5+ years of software development or data engineering experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience managing projects with heavy data or analytics components
  • A sense of humor
  • A passion for audio entertainment
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $178,000 to $250,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
