Principal Software Engineer - (employer: Sirius XM Radio Inc.; job location: Irving, TX) - Design and develop software for our connected car application and platform. Design, develop, refine, and define mobile application software for multiple vehicle models and manufacture types. Help create new interfaces between the mobile client and the back-end service layer. Develop and define class-level specifications and software as well as modify application software. Configure and manage subscriptions, payment and billing in Zuora for CV platform. Design and develop Zuora workflows. Write proof of concept application software. Facilitate the troubleshooting of pre and post-production software issues. Participate in the Agile development process for mobile application development. Help transform the existing CV platform from an on premise, monolithic, closed architecture system to a modern, open, micro-services, cloud based system. Analyze requirements and technical specifications, and implement assigned development tasks using various web technologies. Develop, maintain, and debug cloud based micro-service APIs. Identify performance bottle necks and implement solution. Requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science and three years of experience in the position offered or as an Associate Consultant or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science and five years of post-Bachelor’s progressive experience in the position offered or as an Associate Consultant. All required experience must have included: use of the following technologies in developing software engineering products and applications: Node.js, Angular, Bootstrap, Micro Services, Spring Boot, RestFul API, Java/J2EE, Cloud, JavaScript, AppDynamics, HTML, SQL, Jenkins, Sonar and GIT; executing tasks utilizing Atlassian Development Suite; and performing cloud development and deployment on Cloud Foundry.
