In addition to its audio entertainment businesses, SiriusXM offers connected vehicle services to automakers.As a key member of the newly consolidated Product & Technology team, you will help by providing purchasing and contract support for the Strategic Sourcing & Partnerships team. We are looking for a candidate who has strong attention to detail and experience in technology, such as server and network hardware, software, SaaS, PaaS, infrastructure, and technology consulting services. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate purchasing requests as well as providing vendor support. You will build strong relationship and work effectively with cross functional teams internally as well as our external partners. Additional responsibilities will include the participation in quote and contract reviews and, from time to time, sourcing events. The successful candidate will possess strong social and communication skills. Since you will be working with multiple stakeholders at any given time, you must have excellent organizational and documentational skills.
What You’ll Do
- Work with internal customers to gather specifications, requirements, cost, and schedule
- Interface with vendors and VARs to review and finalize quotes, orders, and contracts
- Responsible for working with stakeholders to review quotes and contracts for accuracy
- Communicate and work with Finance teams on budget approvals
- Submit requisitions through SiriusXM’s P2P system and follow up with approvers if necessary
- Review and reconcile invoices for accuracy and resolve issues prior to approval and payment
- Work with AP, Accounting, and Procurement to ensure that payments are correct, timely, and conform to corporate and compliance policies.
- Maintain detailed knowledge on invoices and PO's
- Work with vendors on NDAs, quotes, RMAs, delivery schedules, and invoices
- Support the Technology team on ITAD projects
- At least 3 years of experience in an IT or IS technical support and / or technical purchasing
- Technical knowledge of servers, components, enterprise networking equipment, software, and connectivity solutions
- Knowledge of purchasing processes, asset tracking and inventory control
- Experience with interpreting sales, and maintenance contract terms and conditions
- Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts
- Knowledge of Jaggaer purchasing system a plus but not required
- Self-motivated; works effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to work collaboratively and seamlessly in a team environment
- Extremely well organized and fastidious. Meticulous in every detail. Possess a strong sense of personal ownership and follow through
- Experience working in a fast pace, dynamic environment to achieve deadlines
- Persistent and dependable, especially in meeting goals and OKRs
- Passion for music, new technologies and self-initiated drive to provide all staff with an excellent customer service experience
- Purchasing, Asset Tracking, Inventory Control experience
- Project Management experience
