How You’ll Make An ImpactIn this role, you understand the nuances of creating engaging ads on social, thrive in a fast-paced environment, is motivated and adaptable to change, and has a passion for all things sports, entertainment and internet culture. The Social Content Producer works cross-functionally to manage and execute the production of social content within the sports and talk pod for SiriusXM. This content is distributed across a variety of owned and external platforms including social media, the SiriusXM app, blog and website.This role within the Streaming Growth organization is to promote and market content to the largest audience possible to increase new subscribers and share of listening. The Producer is a conduit to Programming – knowing what is happening on-platform, and how to best distribute it off-platform. This role requires excellent editorial judgment, a constant flow of ideas for engaging content, a keen eye for detail, and an appreciation for good creative that drives measurable business results. In collaboration with the social media publishing and editorial teams, the Social Content Producer will manage the daily planning and communication of content captures with talent at our SiriusXM studios (or via Zoom/self-capture), off-site events, etc. This role works collaboratively with other Producers as well as the Social Media Publishing, Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing and Creative teams to develop original, editorial and promotional content for franchises, daily posting and campaigns. The Producer will also be the liaison to other stakeholders including Partnerships, Talent, PR, Events and Production teams on logistics and asset approvals. What You’ll Do
  • Helps drive editorial planning and content strategy for sports and talk initiatives across SiriusXM
  • Identify relevant, on-strategy programming and moments in interviews/performances to promote in various marketing streams using strong editorial judgement
  • Capture & edit video clips and bespoke social media templates (graphics, audiograms, deep links, photos)
  • Create innovative, compelling, original content that increases engagement and drives consideration to click, download, and subscribe to the SiriusXM streaming app
  • Identify opportunities for content capture with talent and pitches to marketing stakeholders
  • Develop strong relationships across the organization to enable information sharing and buy-in
  • Acts as representative for department at weekly programming, talent and event meetings, sharing relevant plans and performance metrics
  • Coordinate content distribution plans for social posts across Brand, host, and partner platforms
  • Partner with Talent/IR and Public Relations for a consistent and cohesive strategy that ensures contractual obligations are met and content is amplified for reach
  • Enable internal and external partners to be self-sufficient by providing social media best practices, asset templates, and links to use for ongoing promotion around their content
  • Manage daily content captures and asset production end-to-end, including forward planning, communication and logistics
  • Develop 1-sheets for concepts that Talent reps use to book guests for social initiatives
  • Direct and prep talent on answering questions/prompts and reciting liners
  • Work with Creative and Logistical teams to design sets for video and photo shoots
  • Develop creative briefs, input requests, review final deliverables and facilitate approvals
  • Share final deliverables, including files, links and copy details, with internal/external stakeholders
  • Attend live interviews and sporting events (onsite and offsite) to capture and produce content
  • Assist in filming, editing and captioning videos as well as shooting and editing photos on iPhone and DSLR cameras
  • Transcribe audiograms and videos for closed captioning to improve accessibility
  • Track content distribution across platforms via tools like Monday.com
  • Support senior social producers with tasks as delegated
  • Monitor news/social media to alert team of relevant cultural opportunities or breaking news
What You’ll Need
  • 2-4 years of experience creating and marketing social media content within the media and entertainment industry (Music/Television/Entertainment industry experience is preferred)
  • Experience in Performance Marketing and Paid Media ad best practice is a huge plus
  • Familiarity with Sprinklr, Emplifi, Datarama, and camera-to-cloud live editing software
  • Strong analytical skills to carry out a metrics-driven approach to content creation and drive KPIs
  • Experienced in Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets)
  • Experience using Monday.com or similar project management software
  • Strong relationship builder, and ability to foster great relations with talent & programmers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Flexibility to travel for events and work nights/weekends/holidays as needed
  • Self-starter attitude and the ability to initiate and carry out projects with minimal supervision
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $72,100 - $88,500 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
