How You’ll Make An ImpactSiriusXM’s Connected Vehicle (CV) organization is looking to expand our Agile Practice and looking to bring on a Senior Scrum Master/Coach that will help us through the current phase of Agile evolution and deliver value driven products to our customers.In this role you will be a key member of the Engineering team responsible for ensuring the successfully delivery of Agile projects. You will be called upon to utilize your influence, leadership, project management skills, and knowledge of Agile, to deliver customer value and to increase the effectiveness and velocity of the teams. What You’ll Do

• Guiding and empowering the team and removing impediments to the team’s progress.
• Providing Agile leadership and training, assessing the team’s Agile maturity and constantly raising the bar to improve the team’s velocity.
• Work with the leadership team to provide backlog data along with the goals attained by team.
• Build data-driven work culture.
• Support C-level stakeholders and Scrum Masters, identifying areas for improvement and working with individuals and teams to implement those improvements.
• Establish a versatile leadership skillset that can adapt to dealing with stakeholders (Both Internal/External).
• Should have an extensive portfolio of experience in both successful and unsuccessful Agile transformations/evolutions, from which to draw upon and give coaching on the best way forward in any given situation.
• Fosters a team environment that encourages team members to both seek help from within the team and lean-in to help the team achieve sprint goals.
• Effectively provides, collects, and shares data to help the team see information it needs to identify areas where they need to learn and grow and display process toward desired outcomes.
• Mentorship of team in Agile principles.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• CSM / CSPO is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field, MBA a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc).
• Experience with Atlassian products, HP, Automation.
• Experience with DevOps, ITIL, Cloud Services, IT Infrastructure and Operations, including environment standup, server builds, firewalls, security and compliance (Optional).
• Demonstrable, recent experience developing web applications or microservices, using Java and/or node.js a plus.
• Hands-on software development.
• Experience as a Scrum Master (minimum 5 years) for a software development team that diligently applies Scrum principles, practices, and theory, and has successfully shipped multiple product releases.
• Understand the fundamentals concepts of software development, including continuous integration and deployment best practices.
• Well versed in JIRA and JQL to be able to provide realistic data to stakeholders and support PO and PM to manage expectations.
• Be proactive and have ability to forge partnerships with stakeholders and support the agile team to become empowered and self-managing.
• Experience in Agile measurement techniques and in establishing key metrics for tracking team effectiveness and velocity.
• A deep Agile toolbox including awareness of various Agile techniques, alternate project management approaches and the wisdom to understand when to apply which process to the problem at hand.
• Scrum Master Certification is a plus.
• Good skills and experience of servant leadership, facilitation, awareness, continual improvement, empowerment, conflict resolution, and increasing transparency.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team.
• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
• Facilitate continuous improvement of the process, practices and templates.
• Excellent judgment, decision making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure associated with the SDLC.
• Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Safe, FDD, etc.
