Location: Somerset West, Western Cape, South Africa
Job Purpose:
Source, attract, and select top talent to meet our organisation’s long-term goals and global needs and ensure compliance with employment equity regulations.
Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with managers to identify talent gaps.
- Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
- Manage the talent acquisition process.
- Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Use next-gen solutions to drive talent acquisition.
- Lead employer branding initiatives to attract talent and promote our company as an attractive employer.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management
Required Experience:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the engineering sector.
- Sound knowledge of the South African Labour Laws.
- Proficiency in using social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle.
- In-depth knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques for active and passive candidates.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of business operations and decision-making (business acumen).
- Experience with applicant tracking systems
- Proven success in previous positions
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
