About the Role
Are you looking to use your expert financial, analytical and leadership skills in an industry that supports and protects explorers and heroes? We could use your expertise on our team! As a Sr FP&A Manager you will lead, manage, and coordinate our business operations with specific focused responsibility on supporting financial review, affordability and performance. You'll lead financial planning and tracking and provide oversight into program budget preparation and cost controls. You will be the main responsible in business resource planning/tracking in coordination with other corporate entities. You will also provide key analytics and guidance on opportunities to improve business performance. And you will serve as the core liaison between the multiple teams and business operations to support and fulfill their financial responsibilities.Sierra Space, based in Louisville, Colorado with operations in Madison, Wisconsin and Durham, North Carolina, designs and manufactures advanced spacecraft, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial customers and international organizations. Minimum Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Demonstrated experience of Profit and Loss statements
• Proven leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical role in business, program or operations management
• Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools
• A strong background in DoD, government contracting and/or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures
• Advanced knowledge of labor rate composition

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
