Job Summary
The Intern Engineer will support the Facilities Engineering team in managing, organizing, and maintaining Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing as-built drawings for critical facility infrastructure. The role provides hands-on exposure to electrical and mechanical systems, documentation practices, and site-based engineering activities in a critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in organizing, reviewing, and updating as-built drawings.
• Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings and layouts.
• Use DWG software (AutoCAD, BricsCAD) to view and apply minor updates to drawings.
• Maintain structured drawing folders, naming conventions, and version control.
• Support engineers in keeping technical documentation accurate and up to date.
• Identify and report basic drawing inconsistencies.
• Assist with basic on-site follow-ups related to maintenance or facility tasks (under supervision).
• Support the engineering team with documentation, coordination, and task tracking.
Requirements
• Student or recent graduate in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or similar).
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical building systems.
• Familiarity with DWG-based drawing tools : Bricscad preferred
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work within a team.
• Willingness to learn and support operations in a critical infrastructure environment.
• Openness to using digital tools, including AI-assisted tools (where permitted), to improve documentation and organization.
