AS a Senior Engineer, Satellite Manufacturing - Product, you will be responsible to :

  • Develop, analyze, and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes to improve efficiency, yield, cost, and product quality
  • Lead or support manufacturing process development for new product introductions (NPI), including tooling, fixtures, layouts, and production methods
  • Translate engineering designs into production-ready documentation such as work instructions, assembly procedures, control plans, and tooling requirements
  • Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles in collaboration with product design teams
  • Support production teams during assembly, integration, and test activities by resolving technical issues and providing engineering guidance
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing layouts, process flows, PFMEAs, and standard operating procedures
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and waste reduction initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Perform or lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for production-related nonconformances
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with aerospace quality standards, ESD, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, quality, supply chain, logistics, and configuration management teams to ensure manufacturability and design integrity
  • Support configuration, change management, and engineering change orders (ECOs) related to production documentation, tooling, and processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the digitalization of manufacturing processes, tools, and data

  • Structured, proactive, and data-driven approach to continuous improvement and cost efficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex manufacturing issues
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 2–4 years in manufacturing or process engineering
  • Proven experience developing, validating, and optimizing assembly and integration processes
  • Proficiency with CAD and PLM tools (e.g., Propel) and ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA)
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with ESD requirements, contamination control, and cleanroom practices
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Eligibility for ESA/EU/NATO/National SECRET personnel security clearances is essential. Candidates must be prepared to undergo a security clearance procedure, as this position may require holding such clearance
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment with evolving priorities
  • Strategic thinking to align manufacturing decisions with program and organizational objectives
  • Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues efficiently and maintain operational continuity
  • Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate across engineering, production, quality, and leadership teams
