(VIE) Junior Analyst - Environmental, Health & Safety, Security
ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a one-year contract in conjunction with Business France a part of the VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprises) scheme that allows young people from France and the European Economic Area (EEA) to launch their international career!
In this VIE mission, you will be a part of the Facilities Engineering & Operations (FEO) Team in a fast-paced, growing organization within a dynamic industry.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
- Develop the basic EHS methodology to all major SES sites by initiating, sponsoring and coordinating together with the local teams:
- Legal compliance review
- Risk Assessment
- Emergency procedure(s)
- Trainings
- Infrastructure - OHS registers (if applicable)
- Manage Reports and metrics (internal, ESG, customers,)
- Together with the Safety Officer focus on the EHS Risk assessment for the SES Group sites:
- Identify the recurring risks
- Identify/update environmental impacts and aspects
- Draft EHS procedures for the group
- Support local Luxembourg FEO team on Environmental, Health, Safety and Security topics.
- Develop and maintain the FEO SharePoint portal.
- Manage and supervise internal tickets for FEO
- Support FEO personnel if required during internal company events

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Must Have:
- Engineering/Technical Degree
- Strong computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel,Word, Power BI)
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Strong interest in the Environmental and HS system management (e.g. ISO14001, ISO45001) and ILO health and safety guidelines
- Capability of working in a multicultural environment
Nice to Have:
- Fluency in French or German
- Previous experience in an international group on EHS topics
