(Senior) Digital Architect, Order to Cash

Role description summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support the teams involved in order to cash and finance support activities. The successful candidate will be responsible to provide guidelines for billing, enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply chain, workforce management, recommend best practices for processes and support systems architecture, to conform with the Open Digital Architecture (ODA). This role requires a deep understanding of telecommunications standards, enterprise resource planning, supply chain, data and systems architecture.

Based in the SES Betzdorf facility, you will be at the center of an innovative global organization operating in a unique and fast paced industry.

Primary responsibilities / Key result areas

  • Define guidelines for product ordering, mediation, billing, revenue recognition, supply chain management in line with TMForum Open Digital Architecture (ODA).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture their requirements and business objectives to ensure the target business architecture is aligned with them.
  • Establish and enforce architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
  • Design and maintain the architecture of order to cash domain (processes, data, support systems), ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry standards, and emerging technologies, leveraging ODA's modular and flexible architecture.
  • Stay updated with the latest TM Forum standards and ensure that product models adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas for improvement in existing product models, processes and support systems, and propose enhancements to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Develop detailed documentation and provide training on the use and maintenance of product models.
  • Document and communicate the target architecture and the architecture roadmaps to the stakeholders.
  • Oversee transformation projects to ensure the deliverables do not deviate from the target architecture, identify project risks and propose mitigation actions.

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Business Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on telecommunications companies.
  • Experienced with Telecommunication’s common application landscape (billing, workforce management, supply chain management, ERP).
  • Experienced with SAP transformation projects.
  • SAP certifications are highly desirable.
  • Proficient in TM Forum's frameworks, Open Digital Architecture, Open Apis, Product Modelling best practices, eTOM, SID, TAM.
  • Knowledge on enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate).
  • TM Forum certifications are highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) are a plus.
  • Experience with modelling tools for enterprise architecture is essential.
  • Experience doing sound presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint and to document within Microsoft SharePoint, is essential.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
