ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Monitoring & Digital Systems Engineering team, growing organisation within a dynamic industry.

Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to developing a web service UI to interface with the RTMA metadata analyser and suggest and implement a REST interface for M2M interfacing with the analyser measurement data.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work together with the MDS-GOE team to understand the DVB RTMA (Real Time Metadata Analyser) capabilities and functionality and its architecture.

• Program a web UI to interface with the analyser on most used functions

• Suggest and program a M2M REST interface for north-bound communication with the SES data landscape

YOUR PROFILE

1.You must have

• Current student in Telecommunications, Media Technology or Information

• Technology or in a relevant area.

• Strong computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access).

• Programming skills in modern languages, SQL, Python, HTML and PHP an asset.

• Fluency in spoken and written English

• Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship or valid work permit for Luxembourg).

2. It would be nice if you had

• Knowledge of Media / Video standards, DVB-S an advantage

• Knowledge of relational databases and REST interface technology

• Strong interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular

• Additional languages considered an asse
