Overview

Sedaro is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to elevate the UX for our aerospace simulation platform. In this role, you will architect our web applications, extend our design system, and empower customer developers.

• Team: Workflows, reporting to the Director of Engineering

• Location: In person in Arlington, VA or remote

• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident status required

What You’ll Do

• Design clear user experiences through information architecture and user flows

• Extend our design system and component libraries

• Develop intuitive and performant 3D and data visualizations

• Drive operational excellence using CI/CD and observability frameworks

• Architect Lean solutions with impactful incremental deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

• Expertise developing reusable components in React

• Track record of building intuitive interfaces for complex technical data

• Experience developing CD/CD and automated testing for frontend applications

• Experience with data visualization

• Strong web fundamentals

• Typically requires 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering
